Product Overview

Mycocide is a high power fungus treatment that kills nail fungus in the nail bed. It is available over the counter at most pharmacies, and can come with a grooming kit included. It claims that it can be used with polished nails and acrylics. They claim a patented penetrating delivery system and no unpleasant odor. While the product description states it treats nail fungus, there is a warning that the product is not effective on the scalp or nails, so it’s unclear if it actual intended purpose is to treat nails or not.

Ingredient Overview

Mycocide uses tolnaftate 1% as an active ingredient, and also contains: water, capric/caprylic triglyceride, isopropyl palmitate, polyquaternium 37, Propylene glycol, Dicaprylate/dicaprate, PPG1 trideceth 6, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Cocamidopropylamine oxide, Phemerol chloride, Cetrimonium chloride, Allantoin, Didecyldimonium chloride, and Quaternium 15.  Ingredient Comparison Chart »
