Saprox is a natural clay from the bottom of an ancient glacial lake. The organic substances in the mud are due to a very slow decomposition of herbs and aquatic plants, which they say plays an important part of Saprox’s complex effect. It can treat most external fungal infections of the skin, including tinea versicolor, athlete’s foot and mild toenail fungus. Keep in mind that it is mud, so they suggest not applying it to an open bleeding skin wound.
